Yummy Gooey Chocolatey and Down Right Crazy Good Cadbury Magic Cookie Bars

I love Cadbury Eggs!  If a bag gets opened up I kinda turn into a 5 year old with no self control who will just keep eating them until I either get sick or they are gone.  Almost makes me glad they are only available a few months of the year... almost.

Oh man, looking at these picture is making it very hard for me not to go eat the last few down in the kitchen.  (I made these for a Relief Society Night, and didn't have time to take pictures before I have to go, so I put a few bars under glass in my kitchen and told my family that they were NOT to touch them.  Or else these 4 would never have made it through the night.)

Cadbury Magic Bars

- About 10 graham crackers
- 12 Golden Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 stick of unsalted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate Cadbury Eggs Candies
- 1 (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk

Line a 9X13 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.  Grind up graham crackers and Oreos in a food processor.  Pour crumbs in a bowl with sugar and melted butter.  Mix it well, spread evenly into the dish and flatten it in an even layer.  Refrigerate crust for 30 mins.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Once the crust is ready, remove it from the fridge.  Now you are going to pour on the layers, trying to make them nice and even.  Start with the pecans, add chocolate chips, then coconut, and Cadbury eggs.  Last heavily drizzle sweetened condensed milk on top.

Bake 25-30 minutes, until edges are golden.

It takes hours for it to cool.  I would say a minimum of 2 hours, but I think these are best if you make them the day before.  That way the chocolate chip stop being quite so gooey.

Enjoy and try to stop eating them before you make yourself sick. :)

Tiny Little Felt Ball Easter Eggs

Oh, for cuteness sake! I am kinda in love with these cute little eggs.  Pretty much anywhere I stick a few or anything I make with them just makes me smile.

And as an added bonus, they are SO Easy to make.

Start by gathering your supplies.

You are going to need felt balls, a bowl of very warm water, a bowl of cool water, dish soap, and somewhere for your eggs to dry.

Start by adding a few drops of dish soap to your very warm water.  Then dip your felt ball into the warm, soapy water and rub the ball back and forth in your hands while applying more pressure to one side of the ball.  Soon the ball should be egg-shaped.  You can kinda squish it with your fingers to make sure you have a shape you like.  Then dip your newly-formed egg in the cool, non-soapy, water and place it on the drying rack.  Depending on how many you are making, you may need to reheat the water or replace your cool water.

(a little side-by-side comparison)

You are going to want to let them dry for about 24 hours.

I used some to make an egg-stremely cute garland.

But, I love them just about anywhere.

So, while I am on the topic of really cute little things that make me smile... I got new business cards and now I smile every time I tuck one into one of my Etsy orders.

Isn't is cute!  It has all of my contact info on the back.  I got them from Tiny Prints.  I am kinda on a coral kick right now.
